Fire Safety Plans
The National Fire Code of Canada requires the implementation of a fire safety plan for most buildings and occupancies.
One of Smarter Spaces’s Fire Safety Plan specialists will meet with your facility operational prime(s) and conduct a detailed analysis of the facilities fire safety systems, equipment and procedures in a building to protect people from fire. In preparing draft and final versions of the fire safety plan other areas of information capture will include (but not limited to):
- Building Resource Summary
- Human Resources
- Emergency Procedures for Occupants
- Emergency Procedures for Supervisory Staff
- Responsibilities of the Owner / Occupant
- Fire hazards
- Fire Extinguisher, Control or Confinement
- Alternate measures for Occupant Fire Control
