Smarter Spaces’ precursor, IPECC Inc., was the successful proponent in winning the public solicitation for Move Management Consultancy for relocating the existing Spring Garden Road (SGR) Memorial Library into the New Halifax Central Library.  The Halifax Central Library is a new $57 million facility that opened fall 2014.

The new Halifax Central Library includes both public, administrative and service areas. It is approximately 108,000 square feet and will be increasing the collection size by 60% to approximately 190,000 items.
